New Van Drivers' handbook published
The Freight Transport Association has published new editions for 2009 of its two highly respected publications, the Yearbook of Road Transport Law and the Van Drivers' Handbook.
The 47th edition of the Yearbook has been written and compiled by FTA's team of transport legislation experts and provides essential guidance to help ensure legal compliance by commercial vehicle operators. It includes all the latest information on subjects such as the Driver CPC; ADR 2009 changes; the increase in fees for removing vehicles; civil enforcement of parking; and corporate manslaughter.
Also available from the FTA is the Van Drivers' Handbook, a comprehensive guide covering topics such as legal requirements; defensive driving; safe use of vehicles; drivers' hours and records; driving licences and offences; and speed limits. It costs £6.00 for FTA members, or £6.90 for non-members, with discounts for multiple copies.
